What is the "Believer's Pass"?

The "Believer's Pass" is the best option. Times and dates are posted at the website immediately following the event. The Believer pass includes access to:

  • All specialty workshops

  • All dance bootcamps

  • All dance challenges (t-shirt must be purchased to perform)

  • All social dancing and theme parties

  • Pool Parties

  • All shows/performances

The "Believer's Pass" is fully refundable up to 30 days after its sale. Thereafter, the "Believer's Pass" is non refundable but fully transferable (administration fee applies). Only one pass per person is authorized. Do not purchase multiple passes under the same name, because it makes it difficult for our staff to check you in at the event. What is the "Full Pass"?

The "Full Pass" includes access to

The "3 Nights Pass” sale starts 90 days before the event and includes access to all shows/Performances and social dancing for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night (pool parties are not included). What is the “Volunteer Staff Pass/Deposit”?

The Volunteer Staff Pass/Deposit includes the following

  • Full Time Volunteer/Staff: 12 hours of work (4hrs/day) = 1 Event Full Pass ($80 deposit, fully reimbursable)

  • Extended Part-Time Staff: 8 hours of work = 1 Day Full Pass ($80 deposit, fully reimbursable) or 1 Full Pass with $40 reimbursable.

  • Part-Time Staff Pass: 4 hrs of work = 1 Night Pass ($80 deposit, fully reimbursable)

The two pass (couple pass) combination is a discounted pass designed for 1 Gentlemen dancer and 1 Lady dancer. This option provides each participant with all benefits of the full pass option.

How can I purchase a pass?

To purchase a pass, simply visit our website click on the “passes” tab from the main menu, and then follow all directions.

How can I purchase a pass for a friend? To purchase a pass, simply visit our website click on the “passes” tab from the main menu, and then follow all directions. Ensure you enter your friend’s name AND NOT YOURS.

 

What happens if I enter the wrong name on my pass?

If you enter the wrong name on a pass you purchase, simply call us within the first 24hrs and we will update the information to reflect to correct name without any charges.  All sales are final (see our transfer policy section for related information).

 

How can I purchase multiple passes?

The only way to purchase multiple passes is through our group pass options (see the group pass section for details). Otherwise, each pass is sold separately.

 

How can I purchase the Volunteer Pass/Deposit?

To purchase the Volunteer Pass/Deposit, simply visit our website click on the “Registration” tab from the main menu, click on the “Volunteer Pass/Deposit”, and then follow all directions.

 

 

3. HOTEL & VENUE

Where can I find information on the venue?

Visit our website and click on “Hotel” tab from the main menu.

 

What type of room am I getting?

Our selected hotel offers different types of rooms from single bed, double beds to suite and presidential suite. Rooms are not guaranteed, so ensure to double check and triple check with the hotel weeks and days before your arrival.

What is the hotel and 2 passes combination?

This option provides the most saving of all and includes

  • 3 night stay at our selected hotel

  • 2 Event Full Passes

How can I purchase a “Hotel + 2 Pass Combo”?

Visit our website and click on “passes” from the main menu bar, then select “Hotel + 2 Passes Combo” for instructions.

 

When do I get my confirmation?

Once you pay for your Hotel+2 Full Pass Combo and provide us with both names as they appear on the recipients ID cards, you will receive two eventbrite digital passes to the event. Your Paypal payment is your hotel reservation confirmation. Since you booked through us using our discounted option, the hotel’s front desk will not have any visibility on your reservation.

 

Where do I check-in?

First check-in at the Hotel’s front desk and then pick-up your wristbands from the event’s registration desk

 

What time is check-in?

Check-in starts at 4pm daily. Early check-ins may be available but are not guaranteed.

 

What time is check-out?

Check-out is usually at 11am. Late check-out may be available but are not guaranteed.

 

What happens on cancelation?

The “Hotel + 2 Passes Combination” has two parts, the hotel part and the event part. Cancelations within 72 hours of the event will incur a 1 day room charge. Cancellations for passes will result in credit towards the same pass value to the next year’s OIKF. Cancelations made the day of the event or after the event will not be honored. Credits for another event can only be given once.

 

How can I transfer my Hotel+2 Pass Combo?

5. GROUP DISCOUNTS

What “Group Discounts” are available?

Group discounts vary from 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35% and up to 40% off. Each pass sold as a part of a group discount includes access to:

  • All dance bootcamps

  • All dance challenges (t-shirt must be purchased to perform)

  • All social dancing and theme parties

  • All shows/performances

 

How can I purchase passes with the “Group Discount” option?

Visit our website and click on “pass”, then select “Group Discount”. Fill out the form to include all pass recipients names and email address and then send your payment for your group. What if someone within the group cannot make it to the event?

In case someone from the group cannot make it to the event, please have that person follow all instructions for either “pass transfer” or “selling a pass”.

The VIP Treat includes

- 1 Event official T-shirt (value $25). Sizes must be requested by May 1st. Thereafter, pick-ups are based on availability.

- Red Carpet professional photography (Professional Photography on call).

- Express event entrance VIP only

10. PASS TRANSFER

How can I transfer a pass?

Visit our website and hover over the tab “passes”, scroll down and click on “pass transfer” and follow all directions on the page.

 

How much is the transfer/admin fee?

$25.00

 

How much time do I have to transfer a pass?

Online pass transfers are handled via our website until May 15th. Thereafter, all pass transfers will be handled at the event registration desk. Please bring receipts for all purchased passes.  Admin/transfer fee still applies.

How can I sell my pass?

After you have found a buyer simply have the new recipient pay a pass transfer fee from our website. We have also created a facebook group to facilitate pass sales.  We have created a facebook group to facilitate selling passes. Simply join and post your offer in the groups below

Where can I find the event schedule?

How can I download the event schedule?

Visit our schedule page and right-click on the “download schedule” button, and then select “save as”

 

What can cause changes in the schedule?

 There are many reasons why we make changes to the event schedule. Some of these reasons are the artist may have had an emergency, flights may have been delayed, hazardous conditions which may impact the event, contract issues etc…

 

How can I get the Event/Workshop/Bootcamp schedule?

All schedules are posted online and available under the "Schedule" tab.

The initial schedule is posted 90 days prior to the event.

The final schedule is posted 15 days prior to the event.

Additional updates may follow up to the day of the event.

The event schedule will also be posted in front of each dance room and the registration desk.

18. VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

How can I volunteer?

Simply visit our website, click on “REGISTRATION” page, located in the main menu option bar, click on “VOLUNTEER” and then follow all steps.

 

What is the refund policy for the volunteer/staff pass?

The volunteer Pass is refundable up to 10 days prior to the event. Thereafter, it is final, non-refundable and transferable (see transfer instructions).

Why is there a mandatory deposit (Staff Pass)?

When a volunteer fails to show up on time at his/her assigned place of duty, additional time, resources and personnel need to be set in place, re-adjustment to the schedule need to be made and other volunteers will have to work double shifts. This slows downs guest processing, administration and makes the entire event look unprofessional.

 

 

19. AFFILIATE PROGRAM

What does the Affiliate Program consist of?

The affiliate program consists of 3 parts. First request a discount code, activate your affiliate account, and then advertise your customized eventbrite link to your friends.

How can I sign up to become an affiliate?

Visit our website, click on “registrations” from the top menu bar, and then select “affiliates”

When do Affiliates get paid?

All payment will be handled no later than 30 after the event.

How can I maximize my Affiliate account?

We recommend promoting your personalized eventbrite link to as many as medium as possible. You can create a facebook event and name it (example: XYZ goes to the Orlando International Kizomba Festival).

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final and non-refundable. Unused/unclaimed passes are automatically cancelled upon completion of the event

What are the age limits?

18 years of age to attend Social Dances and Theme Parties
